Founder
Ranjan Chopra
Ranjan Chopra, a 1983 graduate of IIT Kanpur with a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, is the driving force behind Tatva Hills in Almora. His deep connection to the Himalayas and passion for sustainable farming inspired him to create a venture that not only supports local farmers but also uplifts entire communities.

Through Tatva Hills, Ranjan empowers farmers by providing digital literacy and teaching sustainable agricultural practices, enabling them to grow a variety of crops, which are then processed into nutritious and delicious sauces and spices. In return, these efforts provide farmers with financial stability. His mission is to ensure that local farmers thrive while preserving the region’s rich agricultural heritage. Ranjan’s vision combines entrepreneurship, environmental responsibility, and a deep commitment to the people of the Himalayas.
